Why be in the Here and Now

The benefits of being in the Here and Now

We often hear in different media or readings, or in our environment to live in the present, enjoy the present moment. Sometimes we think it's more a philosophy of life, but a religious movement. Yet those who teach or are the subject of their conference and writing are far from this current.

The philosophy of living in the present tense implies that the most popular concept of living one day at a time. This concept often leads us not to worry with what happens, while forgetting that there was, hence the saying "one day at a time!" A concept that tries to protect itself under more or less favorable life trying to escape or delay until tomorrow what might concern us, we dread. We continue with this concept, outside of us, our feeling of being. We avoid the worst in us putting in a current space without necessarily occupying entirely, but only by the mind from which all our thoughts under incredible psychological forms such as fear, fear, doubt, anxiety , anxiety. You and I might add more psychological forms we inhabit.

It is obvious and even essential to have a thought organizer to operate well within our business and our daily tasks. This thought organizer, it is sound and reflects our physical and biological survival. It should still be concerned about eating, having shelter, stay healthy and this, both for ourselves and for those whom we are responsible.

The philosophy of living in present time is not the organizational aspects of our lives and our physical survival, quite the contrary. It does not ignore our organization and what organizational compelling time in our lives but occupying our thoughts make them sick sometimes. We must pay our accounts, we must see our core activities and plan everything to avoid being constantly in situations of emergency, organizational misbehavior, because they are part of our lives that we wanted to or not.

Living in the present time, be in the here and now brings in an entirely different order of thought and organization. This philosophy refers to everything that happens to us in the moment. It means being in position to feel, to feel, what's brewing in us, what we saw in terms of what is happening outside us. It's just the action-reaction principle, but without triggering a direct response to the action. All actions, circumstances and interrelations daily create a reaction in us as feelings, emotions, feelings. In this form of reaction that everything happens, and found himself not in the action as such.

So the benefits of being in the here and now realized how, as we know there are emotions, negative feelings or suffering that we reveal? To get to reap the benefits, there is a first approach that comes down to being able to stop and listen to what is happening and lives in us and, subsequently, be able to identify these feelings and these feelings , both positive and negative. After identifying clearly defined and in which we have not been to trial, it is appropriate to achieve these feelings to accept them as to detach.

Keep us in the past and refer to live our lives in terms of feelings does no more benefits than to project into the future where nothing exists except our minds and our thoughts reassuring or dramatizing the basis of world outside. Trying to capture and settle things of the past efforts to reduce our powerlessness or frustration at not being able to change anything. Trying to improve the current working on the future in order to create winning conditions or situations to eliminate suffering, will require efforts that guarantee nothing. Why? Because the emotions, feelings, the vibrations we exist only in the present tense, as in the instant they take shape in us, hence the term be in the here and now.

The benefits of being in the here and now does not consist of a hi land. They are realized by an instinct to let go of actions out of time on this which we can do nothing more or actions that we anticipate that may not happen, and if so, in a manner very different from what we had anticipated. The greatest benefit that we feel to be in the here and now is the calm feeling in us, our readiness to host this happens and lives in us without trial, and just listen and take time identify these vibrations to help loosen it. Be light at all times!

Let me end this brief reflection on a quote from Krishnamurti that reveals the whole philosophy of living in the present tense: "To die is to live and live is to die." Nothing, absolutely nothing there that which is in the here and now where there is no concern, stress or anxiety or false hopes or illusions in relation to what surrounds us. Everything is live and happening in the present moment within us.
